2 – Day Workshop On Science, Technology and Innovation Policy from October 17 – 18, 2009 at Islamabad, Islamic Republic of Pakistan.
A 2- Day Workshop was conducted on ‘Science, Technology and Innovation Policy’ by International Network on Information Technology (INIT) in collaboration with COMSATS Institute of Information Technology, Pakistan at Islamabad Club, Islamabad, Pakistan on October 17-18, 2009.
The main focus was on significant changes in pedagogies through science and technology that has introduced new ideas. Issues to be addressed were the Importance of Technological Innovation for industrial Development, Enterprise based technological Innovations, Innovation Processes and intermediatories, innovation related measurements and decision making.
The workshop provided excellent opportunity to focus upon many of the issues related to the formulation and implementation of Science, Technology and Innovation Policies, and removing short comings and improving the national systems for developing policies relevant to Science and Technology.
It also gave considerable directions to overcome the loopholes and short comings due to which many potential opportunities and resources are being wasted or under utilized just because lack of innovative approach. In total six (6) Institutions from two (2) countries got benefit from the workshop in terms of 247 participants. Following is the list of country wise institution participated
