A delegation from OIC Islamic University of Technology, Dhaka (IUT) led by its Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Mohammed Rafiqul Islam visited Islamic Republic ot Pakistan to participate in the 48th CFM meeting of Foreign Ministers of OIC member states. The Delegation included Prof. Dr. Md. Hasanul Kabir who was invited to attend the meeting of the steering committee for implementation of the OIC STI agenda 2026 held on 24-25 March 2022 at COMSTECH Islamabad. In cognizance to taking forward the OIC STI Agenda 2026, Prof. Dr. Md. Hasanul Kabir also visited the secretariat of INIT located at COMSATS University Islamabad to discuss areas of mutual interest for future collaboration between IUT and INIT.
The delegation was welcomed by Prof. Dr. Muhammad Tabassum Afzal, President INIT / Rector COMSATS University Islamabad accompanied by Dr. Tahir Naeem, Executive Director INIT.
It was decided to foster linkages with IUT Dhaka to facilitate student and faculty exchange with COMSATS University Islamabad and to develop capacity building initiatives in the field of frontier technologies with INIT.
